About me
About me: I discovered Tai Chi and Qigong around 30 years ago when I attended a local class. Around this time I had experienced a trauma in my life and was looking for something that might help. The atmosphere of the class was welcoming and relaxing which helped me to be myself. I found breathing deeply and learning the movements very relaxing and calming. Initially I found Qigong most beneficial as it wasn’t too difficult to learn and I could close my eyes and just feel the gentle flowing movements.
Over a period of time I began to experience the meditative aspects of Tai Chi as I couldn’t think of anything else whilst focusing my mind on what I was doing, or trying to do! It was unlike anything I had ever done before and was exactly what I needed. I learnt to ‘let go’.
I am a mother and grandmother and have been living in the South West UK for most of my life, which I love.
